Dr. Hemendra Gupta is an accomplished academician, researcher, and corporate trainer with over two decades of rich experience spanning management education, financial training, and corporate leadership. Currently serving as Professor of Finance at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow since 2014, he teaches courses in Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Finance, Wealth Management, Financial Markets, and Financial Econometrics. He has also held key administrative roles including Chairperson – Admissions, Finance Area Chair and Chairperson – PGDM Dr. Gupta’s professional journey includes significant corporate experience with ICICI Group, where he managed wealth portfolios for HNI clients and led sales training across regions. Earlier, he served as faculty at Amity Business School and has been visiting faculty at ICAI, Lucknow University, Jain University , and has build expertise in training, research, and academic leadership. An active researcher, Dr. Gupta has published extensively in Scopus and Web of Science-listed journals on topics such as stock market volatility, ESG indices, cryptocurrency, and financial risk management. He holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from the University of Lucknow, along with professional credentials including CFP, FIII, CAIIB, and fellow membership of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. A recipient of multiple awards, including the ICAI International Research Gold Award (2021) and Best Faculty Awards (2021, 2024), Dr. Gupta continues to bridge academia and industry through MDPs, consultancy projects, and advanced certifications in AI, data science, and algorithmic trading, reflecting his commitment to innovation and excellence in finance education.
